With four standard ratios and nine pitches from 1.5 Mod to 5.0 Mod, these bevels suit various applications, from light instrumentation to robust industrial and agricultural equipment. Crafted from medium carbon steels for strength and durability, optional induction/flame hardening enhances resilience for demanding environments. Following the Gleason system with a 20-degree pressure angle, gears are supplied in pairs for precise matching.
For optimal longevity and performance, ensure miter gears are mounted on rigidly supported shafts with bearings capable of handling axial and radial loads. Shaft alignment is critical, with axis tolerance of 0.025mm, shafts set at right angles within ±5’, and mounting distance (Dimension A) true within +0.0/-0.05mm.
